i thought getting spat on was the ultimate.
i mean, that spit trivialised everything else i ever got before la - bird droppings, spiders, spider webs, ants, peanut sauce.. juz to name a few...
but i underestimated my capability to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. coz last friday proved that i could be DARN good at it.
there i stood in the packed blue cabin of an SMRT train, drained and weary from the day's activities, when suddenly i heard something spill behind me and, nano seconds later, felt the inevitable droplets of splash on my feet. in that few nano seconds when i was still spared from the truth i had an image of water spilling out of a water bottle... but when i turned to look, sadly the image was not to be. instead the sight of the man behind me who juz puked his supper and/or dinner and/or (maybe even)lunch all over the floor greeted me...
i shall spare you the details here. maybe if i meet you in person i'll dish 'em out yea? haha.
thing is, i didn't even flinch la. duno if it was bcoz i was too tired to care, or bcoz hey, wats the surprise aniw?
so yea. i rein as the girl who gets the *most weird things on her.. *most being superlative to weird, or referring to the number of occurences. either way, like it matters...

i juz found the fearless mv on the net. which is probably slow of me. my sis was telling me to go watch the fearless movie so i can see the mv but hey i don't have a sponsor like she does so..
ANYWAY.
the mv. the starting was drums, enough for me to sit up and stare wide-eyed with envy... come jay chou's entrance.. back profile, slowly turning to face the camera with fan in hand.. you should have seen the smile that crept up my face ear-to-ear.. i felt like the grinch! and the fan dance!! how can he look hot dancing with a fan??

can it be that music is really this powerful?
these past few months i found myself refraining, consciously or subconsciously i don't know, from listening to certain specific songs because of certain specific reasons. but these past few days i found that i've reali missed listening to those certain specific songs and thought hey, maybe those certain specific reasons don't exist anymore and i can now listen again to those certain specific songs. but i thought wrong because listening again to those certain specific songs made me think again of those certain specific reasons that made me stay away from those certain specific songs in the first place.
so, not listening to those certain specific songs did not make those certain specific reasons go away after all - they juz went into hiding. so if not listening doesn't work, maybe i should juz stick to listening. and hope i develop a certain specific numbness.
or can it be that certain specific things juz don't go away for certain specific reasons?
or... can it be... that it's simply. just. me? =)
